Remodeling, a quick solution if you are wanting a divorce. I'm kidding, but I did go through a remodel from hell. This small hall bathroom was a nightmare and took too long but I'm extremely happy with the outcome and we're not divorced. So, I'd call that a win/win.

I love a before and after. It really puts it into perspective on what all went on to get from point a to point b. This bathroom is long and narrow and rearranging the shower, toilet, vanity was nearly impossible to do while not spending a fortune. I removed the cast iron tub, ripped off the subway tile for the shower walls, removed the large vanity, removed the soffit with lights above the vanity, ripped up the floor tile, painted the walls, created a open area for shelving, new toilet, new vanity, and more.

I love cement tile! I have been eyeing it for a while now and this small space was the perfect spot to lay the tile and not be too overpowering. This bathroom had brushed nickel fixtures, brass/gold fixtures, and shiny nickel fixtures so on the top of my priority list was to get all the fixtures to match. While most people don't care about this, I'm way too OCD about everything matching and I am trying to get better at mixing up brass and silver, etc.

This vanity is from Overstock and was delivered within days of ordering, which was nice. I'm not sure if I would order a vanity again from Overstock again because installation took me finding multiple people to finish it. I found these great light fixtures from Way Fair, that were also delivered extremely fast and look great with Edison bulbs.

I found the clear handles from Hobby Lobby, which I just love. I picked out the Quartz counter top so that everything would be pretty monochromatic in this bathroom. With the floor being so busy, I felt everything up should be more calm. This is the first time I've bought Quartz, I feel like granite has worn out its' welcome and this clean look is perfect.

The shower door is a frame less with one side that slides and has the brushed nickel fixtures that tie everything together. The shower floor is honeycomb white tile and white grout. I used this epoxy for the grout to prevent staining, I just hope it works! The shower walls are white marble tile with gray accents throughout which ties in perfectly to the light gray walls. You can tell I sell real estate with these intense descriptions!! (insert eye roll emoji)

I'm the type of person who will probably continue slowly adding to this, I would love to add the same honeycomb tile to the walls above the vanity and move the vanity sconces down (they were hung before I could say where to hang them so don't judge me).
