Cookie Decorating

Disclaimer: I've never made homemade cookie dough before!

Raise your hand if you don't love Christmas cookies...okay for the rest of you still reading, you can make your own and they actually are delicious!!

I wanted to get together with my friends this week and in the spirit of Christmas make it about decorating cookies. I stalked a friend's instagram who made cookies and she sent me the recipe she used. I have another professional baking friend who I texted for HELP the entire time...in the middle of all that I had some mishaps (didn't add enough butter) then just started guestimating with the flour, sugar, and let me tell you the final product was DELICIOUS. They even taste better today!

I didn't make the icing but you can buy good icing. Definitely call your friends and invite them over before Christmas and do cookie decorating, you will have so much fun! I love my KitchenAid stand mixer, I got it for Christmas a few years ago and I use it constantly & my cute shirt is from Plum Delightful!
