Disney (with a baby)
I think most Floridians look at a calendar and think “I should NOT go to Disney World in the summer when it’s so hot and humid!” Well that was not us, we did our first Disney trip with Mary Catherine in June. I don’t have all the tips and tricks but she was not phased by the heat and had a blast! We used a Disney planner, Ally, to coordinate our trip, hotel accommodations, and reservations. Our hotel accommodations were absolute perfection; I could have stayed at the hotel and never left for a park, in fact Saturday was so hot and miserable we completely skipped our Epcot plans and relaxed by the pool. Our experience at Magic Kingdom with an 8 month old was actually great. The heat didn’t bother her luckily. We didn’t go to the park until around 3pm, we booked our rides with Genie+ and had zero issues getting to ride every ride we wanted to. Mary Catherine rode 2 rides, met Cinderella, and had a good nap…haha. We ate dinner at Be Our Guest and got out of the park about 2 minutes before the fireworks started.
Favorite Things We Packed:
1) Fans - I packed 3 of these, we attached them to the stroller facing her and facing whomever was pushing the stroller
2) This uppa baby set of attachments for the stroller
3) Yeti Blanket - a splurge but we used it every day in Orlando and almost every day back at home.
4) Chair Attachment - we took this to every restaurant and it attached easily to all of the tables for dining.
MC’s Outfits:
All of Mary Catherine’s outfits were perfect for Disney, my favorite was this Cinderella bubble! (all photos below are direct links to products)

Other Fun Stuff We Did Or Wish We Did:
Our hotel offered a character breakfast that we loved and the breakfast was delicious too. I wish we had made time to go to Disney Springs but we loved all the restaurants in our hotel and the lazy river on property. In all aspects though, Ally, set up our trip perfectly and I would go back soon! (Just when it’s cooler!)
