What I'm binge watching during Quarantine
My friend asked me for some good shows to watch yesterday so I figured a few of you out there are in the same boat. While I'm working from home I still keep the t.v. going in the background so some of these are mindless, some would be despised by your male counterpart, or some you want to watch as a couple or with friends (in the future).
Netflix
Virgin River - I binged this prior to quarantine but it is a great show, romantic twists, but don't make a man watch this with you, he definitely will be annoyed. I'm hoping for a season 2!
American Horror Story - couple approved. I don't do scary AT ALL but did enjoy the season 3 "Coven" with the Witches. I'm on the fence about starting another series though.
Schitt's Creek - probably the best series I've watched, hilarious, laugh out loud, short 25 minute episodes, perfect for anyone to watch!
The Office/Parks & Rec - I watch these before bed, light hearted, funny, mindless, feel good shows.
Grace & Frankie - 100% a women's show but wonderful! Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin get left by their husbands and it is about them navigating life together. It's a laugh out loud type show.
Dead to Me - again, this is an old one and binge worthy, season 2 will start in May. Kind of funny, kind of weird, a little morbid but enjoyable.
Ozark - I loved season 1 and 2 but haven't started season 3 yet, full of drama, crime, and killing. 10/10 would most likely recommend.
Hulu
Little Fires Everywhere - this would remind you of Big Little Lies. Reese is great in tv shows, not necessarily movies (personal preference) but I do always enjoy her in shows. It's on the verge of being girly but you can probably get your man to watch with you. Drama! Drama! Drama!
Homeland - we just started watching this, it's INTENSE, if you loved Zero Dark Thirty or terrorist type shows or find the war against terrorism interesting you will be hooked like I am. It's deep and you have to be focused aka: phone down.
Amazon Prime/ HBO/ Showtime
I watch all of these through my Amazon Prime account.
Righteous Gemstones - Honestly, there's nothing like this...ya know the sayings about loving Jesus and still cussing or drinking...well that's this family. A family of Preachers and their hysterical drama. Definitely rated R!
Succession - if you love drama, family, crazy wealth you will enjoy this, a family owned cable conglomerate with 4 siblings vying to take over their Dad's position. (Also on Hulu)
Curb your Enthusiasm - Obviously the filming took place a while ago so it's a little shaky but the content is 10/10 laugh out loud.
Big Little Lies - if you haven't watched this I truly think you're missing out, HBO produced it a few years ago and it's wonderful, I don't know anyone who didn't enjoy watching it & the intro song is one you will want to download and listen to on repeat.
Marvelous Mrs. Maisel - very girly, very cute, season 1 was definitely the best.
Well it seems we may have only 2 or so weeks left of quarantining so get to binge watching!
